Stefan Angelini Director & Financial Advisor
Married to a woman who is 'out of his league' with two beautiful children, Stefan has a fond love for family, coffee, property and wine, which he attributes to his Italian roots .His ideal evening is spent surrounded by family with a bowl of Nonna's gnocci.
Being the lead adviser at Angel Advisory, his focus is on providing deeply personal advice tailored to improve a clients specific circumstances. Stefan believes that the key to providing great advice, is to start by building a strong and trusting relationship.
Through his experiences and education, Stefan is able to guide his clients on all things investments, structures and strategy. Whether shares/ETF portfolio's are right for a client, or if the want to have a more direct focus on Property or businesses, Stefan does not mind. Stefan is a very active in all things shares, property, property development, business and start-up investments.
Stefan runs his own Self-Managed Superannuation Fund and Family Office with his family, where they specifically focus on Philanthropy through social housing investments, property developments in the childcare / disability / industrial / residential spaces and start up & established business investments. More noteably, Stefan was a co-founder of a start-up business that appeared on the hit TV show 'Shark Tank' in 2014.
Al Salonga Operations Manager
Al has 2 young children and more than enough family and friends to keep his weekends full of activities. You can regularly find Al in his garden tending to his vegetables, or on the golf course trying to make Par. He has a true love of sports (mostly basketball) and most speculative investment classes. More recently, he has a developed a passion for the Cryptocurrency and NFT environment.
Al brings over 17 years of experience in the Financial Services Space to the business and has the sole role of ensuring the business runs efficiently and compliantly. His background in working at large names like Deloitte have provided him the skills to ensure all advice is delivered efficiently and most importantly, is in the best interest of each and every client.
Being such a valuable asset to the business, in 2021 Al became a shareholder in Angel Advisory, a position that ensures the long term success of the business.
As a client, you may not be in regular communication with Al, given his work is mostly done behind the scenes, managing the team and the compliance of all advice. Be rest-assured, when you do come into contact with him, it will be a great experience.
Tom Gleeson Associate
Tom is one the most passionate and friendly people you'll ever get the opportunity to meet. As a result, it's difficult to find a time in his social calendar, but if you do, it will most likely with a beer in hand. Tom stands at a handy 6'3 which led him to re-commence his Australian Rules Football career a the ripe old age of 30, when most others are running toward the benches.
Tom brings a different kind of experience to the business. Having spent 5 years in the Army, including 1 Tour to Iraq, his learnings bring a different approach to finance. Loyalty, Organization, Diligence and effective communication are some of the traits he has adopted from his time in the Army that makes him so respected and valued by Angel Advisory and our clients.
Tom has earnt the name "The Implementer"(not the Terminator) as his primary role is ensuring all work relating to a clients financial strategy and situation gets implemented by our team with efficiency and high attention to detail.
As a client, you will find yourself in regular communication with Tom. His role involves understanding and knowing you just as much as your advisor, so don't be concerned if you find yourself becoming close friends with Tom over-time.
Toan Nguyen Financial Advisor
Toan has 2 young active boys who are in Primary School and High School, that keep him extra busy on week nights and weekends. While Toan's family is originally from Vietnam, he was born in Laos and migrated to Australia with his family as a very young boy. Now married to a wonderful Chinese woman, his house is very multicultural. While he boasts to the team that he is the best cook in the house, no one seems to believe him.
Toan has been in the financial planning industry since 2004, starting in Strategy and Quality of advice assessments at one of Australia's largest advice providers at the time, he quickly moved into leading teams and providing direct advice to clients. His experience at large banks, retail funds, boutique advice practices and large industry funds, has lead him to realize where his final destination need to be.
He was brought back to the boutique advice world where Angel Advisory thrives. His desire for building long term relationship and becoming a true friend/advisor along the way was the catalyst that lead him to find what he believes to be a long term home within the business.
Toan is the most experienced member of the Angel Advisory team and has proven to be an amazing team member and advisor. His knowledge, excellent communication skills and patience are only a small complement to the attention to detail and care he approaches every situation with.
Jeanette Mae
Client Administrator
Jeanette has an infectious bubbly personality that is loved by the Angel Advisory team and clients. Her highly efficient and detail oriented nature ensures all client work is completed with accuracy and efficiency.
Ethel Baron
Client Administrator
Ethel has a wealth of experience in auditing, accounting and bookkeeping. She mostly works behind the scenes in ensuring all client matters are attended to and completed effectively.
Ross-Anne Banco
Admin & EA
Ross-Anne was one of Angel Advisory first team members. On top of being the Personal Assistant to Stefan Angelini, she also ensures clients have up to date research and information on their investments.
